We extend our sincere thanks to CBE for the professional, high-quality recording that beautifully captures this special event and showcases our students’ talents, hard work, and enthusiasm.
Next week promises to be one of the most exciting weeks of the school year!
Tuesday will begin with our annual Sports Day, where students will demonstrate teamwork, perseverance, and school spirit. The excitement will continue with the much-anticipated Staff vs. Grade 6 Students Soccer Game—always a fun, memorable tradition!
Thursday brings Fiestaval, one of our community’s favourite celebrations run by our School Council and Society to close the school year. Families can look forward to delicious food, engaging activities, and the opportunity to come together as a school community to celebrate our cultures, connections, and learning.
Friday will be our Grade 6 Farewell, a meaningful celebration marking the culmination of our students’ elementary school journey. We look forward to recognizing their accomplishments and sharing this special milestone with students and families.
Our Grade 6 students have only two PATs remaining. We are proud to share that their preliminary results continue to reflect the dedication and hard work of our students, the expertise of our teachers, the strong support of families, and the effective structures we have in place at Glenmeadows School.
On the last day of school, families will receive all available preliminary PAT results, with the exception of Writing Part A, which is marked provincially. Once provincial marking is complete, official Grade 6 PAT results will be forwarded to families through their designated junior high schools.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support throughout the year. We look forward to celebrating these final weeks of learning and achievement together!

Sports day this year will be on Tuesday, June 18th . Please ensure that your child is ready for a day of fun outside!
Students should wear athletic clothing, bring their water bottles, sunscreen, and a hat.

FALL 2026 CASINO VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED - NOV 7 & 8
Hello Escuela Glenmeadows Parents and Guardians!
Every two years, Escuela Glenmeadows is granted a casino fundraising night! Our next one is slated for Q4 of 2026. The funds earned from this event support a variety of programs for the students at Glenmeadows. We use the money for: residencies, equipment for sports, arts, STEM, AV equipment, a new gaga ball pit, and so much more! The goal of the casino fundraiser is to offer our kids additional learning opportunities and subsidies programs run by our amazing school staff.
This fundraiser raises a considerable amount of money... north of $80,000!
Casino Information:
Date: Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8
Location: Cowboys Casino (underground parking included)

The volunteer list needs to be submitted to AGLC by mid-September, so please pick your shift early.
This is a great way to meet other parents in the school and engage in some adult conversation :)
A meal at one of the onsite restaurants is provided for all the volunteers.
If you are concerned about not being familiar with casino activities, we have you covered. AGLC mandates that we hire very knowledgeable advisors that will walk us all through the requirements of each role, both prior to the shift starting and during the entire 2 day event. The only requirement is a valid ID.
