Ayer/Yesterday, we celebrated what may have been our best Fiestaval ever at Escuela Glenmeadows School! A heartfelt thank you to our School Council and Society, as well as the many parent organizers and volunteers who dedicated countless hours to making this event such a tremendous success. Their efforts created an unforgettable evening filled with activities and entertainment for students, families, and staff alike.
Algunos/Some of the highlights included outstanding student and staff performances on stage, an entertaining magician, vibrant Peruvian dancers, lively music and dancing, and an incredible variety of delicious food and treats. Most importantly, it was wonderful to see our school community come together to celebrate another fantastic year.
Hoy/Today was both a joyful and bittersweet occasion as we celebrated our Grade 6 Farewell. The ceremony featured thoughtful student speeches, beautiful musical performances by our Grade 5 and 6 students, and the presentation of the Spanish International Academy Certificates. We are incredibly proud of our Grade 6 students and all they have accomplished during their time at Glenmeadows. We wish them continued success as they begin the next chapter of their educational journey.
Con solo/With only five school days remaining, we are looking forward to making the most of our final week together. On Thursday, we will hold our Year-End Assembly, where we will recognize and celebrate students and staff who are moving on to new opportunities, including our Grade 6 graduates.
Un recordatorio amigable/A friendly reminder that report cards will be available on Thursday. If you have any questions regarding your child's report card, please contact your child's teacher on the following Monday, June 29th or Tuesday, June 30th in the morning.

TROPICAL DAY
To celebrate the end of a wonderful school year, students are invited to participate in Tropical Day (Dia de la ropa Tropical) on Friday, June 26! Students are invited to wear tropical-themed clothing such as bright colours, floral prints, Hawaiian shirts, and sunglasses. Please ensure all clothing is school-appropriate and suitable for outdoor activities.
We look forward to seeing your bright smiles and fun tropical clothing. Let's head into summer in style!

Your student(s) report cards will be available to view and download through your MyCBE account on Thursday, June 25th. After you have logged in, you can click on Report Card/Student Info on the right-hand side to view your report card(s). Please note they are only available to view until July 31. Remember to download or print your report cards if you would like to keep them.

From the delicious food to the carnival games, magician, amazing student performances, and balloon animals—your energy and support made the event truly special. We’re so grateful for this wonderful community and the memories we created together!
FALL 2026 CASINO VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED - NOV 7 & 8
Hello Escuela Glenmeadows Parents and Guardians!
Every two years, Escuela Glenmeadows is granted a casino fundraising night! Our next one is slated for Q4 of 2026. The funds earned from this event support a variety of programs for the students at Glenmeadows. We use the money for: residencies, equipment for sports, arts, STEM, AV equipment, a new gaga ball pit, and so much more! The goal of the casino fundraiser is to offer our kids additional learning opportunities and subsidies programs run by our amazing school staff.
This fundraiser raises a considerable amount of money... north of $80,000!
Casino Information:
Date: Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8
Location: Cowboys Casino (underground parking included)

The volunteer list needs to be submitted to AGLC by mid-September, so please pick your shift early.
This is a great way to meet other parents in the school and engage in some adult conversation :)
A meal at one of the onsite restaurants is provided for all the volunteers.
If you are concerned about not being familiar with casino activities, we have you covered. AGLC mandates that we hire very knowledgeable advisors that will walk us all through the requirements of each role, both prior to the shift starting and during the entire 2 day event. The only requirement is a valid ID.
