Escuela Glenmeadows School welcomed our fantastic and committed parent volunteers this past Wednesday! To express our gratitude for all our volunteers do for our students and teachers, we had great food, student acts, and guest games. Gracias/Thank you to all the staff who collaborated to have an AMAZING and best School Luncheon appreciation for our volunteers. Families who attended felt the gratitude expressed through great food, fabulous student acts and your invaluable presence. Las familias dijeron/Families said they have not seen what we do in any school they have been to.
Estamos agradecidos/We are grateful to our School Society for approving and funding our teacher wish list. This wish list included resources, manipulatives, concert lights, games and school technology items. The amount financed by the School Society is over $20,000! Gracias Escuela Glenmeadows parents!

Healthy Hunger
Don’t forget to register for Healthy Hunger, save yourself making a few lunches this year and support the school society! The deadline for next week’s (Wednesday) order is Friday, May 17 at midnight.
To set up and order food for the weeks to come, first set up an account for your child(ren) through the Healthy Hunger website.
FIESTAVAL tickets are now on SALE!
Go to your Healthy Hunger account for admission tickets, plus pre ordering your food. This year we have 4 different food vendors to preorder from. This is to help spread everyone out and ensure faster moving line ups. The vendors are Mucho Burritos, Food trucks (Family Cheesed, Alberta Burgers and Family dogs). You can also buy from the food trucks and other snack vendors at the event, Mucho Burritos is preorder only.

Glenmeadows Society has change Spiritwear vendors for the school. Bare Fern Apparel and the Glenmeadows store is https://barefernapparel.myshopify.com/collections/egsschool.
Glenmeadows (first ever) Mercado de Pulgas/Flea Market during Fiestaval – June 13 Glenmeadows Elementary is having our first Flea Market during our largest school event at the end of the year. We estimate between 800 and 1000 people, approx. 65% being kids. It will be a great opportunity to showcase your business while adding an amazing piece of Latino culture to our already awesome year end event. Please note: We will not be providing supplies like tables; you will need to provide any items you need. It will be outside, and no power will be provided. Cost is $10 to have a spot to sell or showcase your products or services.
