Queridas familias,
Que emocion/What an exciting and energetic Spring Concert we enjoyed yesterday! Our students proudly showcased the incredible skills they have been developing in music class through vibrant songs, lively dances, and engaging presentations connected to the Spanish and Latin American cultures. The pride and joy in this event was truly contagious. Parents shared wonderful comments such as, “Wow, I do not know if all schools have such amazing concerts, but today’s was amazing!” and “What a great school we have. I am so proud of my kids and the school.”
Gracias de todo corazon/A heartfelt thank you goes out to the many parents who helped create the beautiful backdrops and decorations, our dedicated teachers for their continued academic support and commitment to the music program, and of course, the amazing Sr. Casas, whose passion, talent, and leadership make these memorable experiences possible for our students each year.
El lunes/On Monday and Friday, our Grade 6 students will attend Camp Chief Hector. This exciting experience will provide authentic learning opportunities connected to Sky Science, space, nature, and outdoor education. Students will also strengthen their collaboration, communication, and social-emotional skills through dynamic team-building activities that foster well-being, confidence, and friendship.
Día del Pelo Loco was once again a huge hit with both students and staff! Creativity was on full display throughout the school, and it was wonderful to see everyone celebrating each other’s imaginative hairstyles with kindness, laughter, and respect.
June is approaching quickly, and it is hard to believe that the school year is almost over. Even so, we still have an exciting month ahead filled with meaningful learning, celebrations, special activities, and opportunities for students to continue growing in all areas. Please be sure to continue to check Sabes Que for the many upcoming school activities and events. Let’s finish the year strong together!

We made $2308.50 in sales on the day. Thank you for your continued support; this enables us to add more wonderful books to our school library.

FALL 2026 CASINO VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED - NOV 7 & 8
Hello Escuela Glenmeadows Parents and Guardians!
Every two years, Escuela Glenmeadows is granted a casino fundraising night! Our next one is slated for Q4 of 2026. The funds earned from this event support a variety of programs for the students at Glenmeadows. We use the money for: residencies, equipment for sports, arts, STEM, AV equipment, a new gaga ball pit, and so much more! The goal of the casino fundraiser is to offer our kids additional learning opportunities and subsidies programs run by our amazing school staff.
This fundraiser raises a considerable amount of money... north of $80,000!
Casino Information:
Date: Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8
Location: Cowboys Casino (underground parking included)

The volunteer list needs to be submitted to AGLC by mid-September, so please pick your shift early.
This is a great way to meet other parents in the school and engage in some adult conversation :)
A meal at one of the onsite restaurants is provided for all the volunteers.
If you are concerned about not being familiar with casino activities, we have you covered. AGLC mandates that we hire very knowledgeable advisors that will walk us all through the requirements of each role, both prior to the shift starting and during the entire 2 day event. The only requirement is a valid ID.
