Principal’s Message
Queridas familias:
Hoy/Today was Sra. Ana’s last working day at Escuela Glenmeadows School. We know she will succeed and continue to show excellence in her work and positively impact other people's lives. Starting next week, we will have Denise Morrison, a CBE-tenured substitute, for a few weeks until we find our new permanent Administrative Secretary.
Ayer/Yesterday evening and this morning, we had the pleasure of meeting with families/guardians to report on student progress. If teachers were to give students a mark today, they would have shown you student work and provided a rationale for where the student would be using the CBE achievement indicators 1-4. We hope that the conferences were valuable and provided you with strategies we will use to continue to support your children.
El mes de noviembre/The month of November is over, and again; we provided many certificates of recognition to students for demonstrating excellence in citizenship, character and personal development. Well done EGS students! Keep doing your very best each day.

Casino Fundraiser – We Need You Next Week! December 4-5
We are looking for volunteers for Escuela Glenmeadows' 2024 Casino Fundraiser—our largest fundraiser of the year!
This is an excellent opportunity to support our school while having a fun day or night out. No previous training is required, and your help will make a huge impact.

🎄 HOLIDAY READING CHALLENGE 🎄
The Parent Council is excited to spread some holiday cheer with this year’s Holiday Reading Challenge!
Starting next week, students can grab a snowflake-themed bookmark from the library to help track their cozy holiday reading adventures.
For every 15 minutes of reading for 10 days, students will earn an entry into our holiday contest! We’ll be drawing two lucky winners in the new year—one from Division 1 and one from Division 2.
So, curl up with a good book, and let the reading fun begin!
Challenge Dates: December 21, 2024 – January 6, 2025
All entries must be submitted to the office by January 10, 2025.
