PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
Hoy/Today was an especially exciting day at Escuela Glenmeadows! Our students and staff brought plenty of creativity and fun to the school with their wonderful costumes. While the celebrations added to the excitement of the day, teaching and learning continued with academic rigour, engagement, and respect for the learning taking place in our classrooms.
Thank You to Our School Society and Families!
Nuestra Escuela/Our School Society continues to make an incredible difference in the learning experiences we can offer our students. Through its generous financial support, the school has enhanced resources for our Learning Commons, Music, Physical Education, Raz-Kids, Art, educational residencies, and much more.
This afternoon, our teachers explored additional resources and identified materials that will further enrich teaching and learning in their classrooms. They also placed orders to bring these opportunities to life!
We extend our sincere appreciation to all the parents and families who organize and support our fundraisers, volunteer at casino events, and contribute in so many ways. Your generosity and commitment allow Escuela Glenmeadows to provide learning resources and experiences that go above and beyond our basic instructional resources. Your support makes a meaningful difference in the opportunities we can provide for every student. (By the way - there's still time to make donations to our MakerSpace, which directly helps our students in the STEM program! You can see what's needed here).
New Technology Coming to Glenmeadows!
Estamos/We are also grateful to the Calgary Board of Education for its continued investment in our school's technology. We are pleased to share that Glenmeadows will be receiving 46 new Chromebooks and 7 iPads within the next three weeks! This equipment will replace outdated technology and give students better access to digital learning tools and resources.
Gracias/Thank you for being such an important part of our school community. Together, we continue to create meaningful learning opportunities for our students.
¡Tengan un lindo fin de semana! / Have a wonderful weekend!
