Principal’s Message

Queridas familias:

We look forward to our Welcome Back Assembly on Friday, September 13. Students and staff will be excited to be together as one school.

On Thursday, September 19, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., our School Society is planning an exciting Welcome Back BBQ! We sincerely thank our Society Chairs and parent volunteers for their hard work and dedication in organizing this event. Please plan to come and remember to order your food through Healthy Hunger.

Please note that the home in front of the school has a no-stopping sign. This ensures that the crosswalk is clear so pedestrians can walk to school safely. We placed cones this week for motorists to ensure they do not park there.  We trust drivers will observe the city signage and not park in that area.  Gracias!

Kindergarten, grade 1, 2 and 3 teachers are actively assessing students with provincial educational tools to diagnose areas of strength and growth in literacy and numeracy.  As in previous years, grade 4 to 6 teachers use trusted pedagogical tools to assess their students.

You will have an opportunity to meet and share with your child’s teacher on September 26 or 27. We will communicate more information with you through your teacher's Friday message and Sabes Que next week.

We look forward to the great weather and continued great teaching and learning at Escuela Glenmeadows School.

With gratitude,

Sr. Suarez

Principal
