Hoy/Today, we had the Escuela Glenmeadows School Tiene Talento! We had one hour of singing, dancing, instruments, and karate! Our school audience was captivated by the high-level, energetic performances that delighted everyone in the gymnasium.
CBE school budgets have been delayed until April 23; as a result, we will only be able to review our 2026/27 school configurations and structures until early May. We recently had our Fireside chats, where we asked all staff about their wishes and dreams for the next school year. All staff wish to stay at our amazing school. We only have one teacher who may be interested in working in the North of Calgary due to commuting challenges. It is great to have a strong staff and families at our school to continue excellent teaching and learning, with the support of amazing school families!

SCHOOL UPDATES
SWIM UPDATE
Swimming lessons start next week for grades 1, 2 & 4s. There are a few items to remember to bring each day for your students which are:
- Bathing suit (if possible, please have your student wear their bathing suit to school under their clothes)
- Towel
- Underwear
- A bag to keep wet items in
SWIMMING VOLUNTEERS
Forms were emailed home yesterday for volunteers helping out next week. Please fill out and return the forms before your first shift at the pool. We will have some forms available at the pool should you forget.
We will send home forms for volunteers helping out the 2nd week of swimming next week.
SPRING CONCERT
Mark your calendars! Our kindergarten, grade 1s and grade 3 classes will all be participating in our Spring Concert on Thursday, May 28th. A letter will be sent home next week with performance times.

· Plant delivery/pick up: Plant orders will be delivered on May 4th, and you will be able to pick up between 3:45-5:30 PM at the school, on the 4th & 5th
· Pickup is just before Mothers day, so make sure you include a gift for the fantastic Mothers in your life!
SPRING BREAK STEM CHALLENGE
You still have time to do a STEM challenge and submit it! All students from kindergarten to grade 6 are welcome to participate. Choose a STEM activity (check out last week's Sabes Que for more information and suggestions on what you can do), take a photo or record it (max 30 seconds, size under 1GB) and upload it before Wednesday April 8th.
All participants will be entered into a draw to WIN a prize! Have some fun with STEM!
