Esta mañana/This morning we held our Escuela Glenmeadows School Terry Fox Run. All students had a solid understanding of who our Canadian hero Terry Fox was, and the purpose of the Run of Hope. Students and staff ran with pride and excitement knowing that a great cause was at hand. We are grateful to the many volunteers and families who came to support and cheer students and staff in this wonderful and important fundraising and healthy event. Did you know that our fundraising goal was $2,000 and we are at just under $ 4,000 ? Wow! Through this fundraising students, families and staff have shown their great care to support the eradication of cancer.

 El proximo jueves 25/Next Thursday is the Welcome Back BBQ sponsored by the School Council and Society! As in years past, we expecte large numbers of families coming to meet and enjoy food, games and each other. On that same day, your children will write messages of hope/care/inspiration to all attendees. Please ask your child to show you theirs!

 On Monday 29 (non instructional day) we will hold the Meet the Teacher Day. Please book your 15-minute time with your teacher(s). This is a great opportunity for you to share more about to child(ren) and hear about their adjustment in the first few weeks. Please know that this is not a progress report.  You can book your time by logging into your MyCBE Account – Book & Manage Meeting Times.  If you would like to also meet with Sr. Casa, please book a separate time with him.
