La salud/The health and safety of our students, staff and guests is always a top priority for our school. A letter from the Chief Officer of Health was sent home to families by CBE sharing the concerns and guidance on measles.

Parte de/Part of the letter reads as follow: As health care providers we want to keep you and your family healthy and safe, but we cannot do that without your help. While getting your measles immunization is the first and most critical thing you can do, it is also important to:

 • Stay home when feeling sick.

• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

• Call Health Link at 811 before visiting any hospital, clinic or healthcare provider.

To support the health of all school stakeholders, when children arrive ill with common cold symptoms parents/guardians will receive a call to pick-up their children from school. We ask that you please exercise caution for the good of everyone. Please view this 1 minute YouTube video on Measles https://www.youtub.com/watch?v=pkVkvi4NKow for a refresher on the common Measles symptoms.

Many of our students are cheering for the Edmonton Oilers! They wore Orange, Blue, white, their Edmonton Oilers Jersey or their own hockey jersey in support of the Oilers. Will the Stanley Cup come back to Canada after 32 years? The oilers are certainly making it exciting for all of us!

Tengan un lindo fin de semana/Have a nice weekend!
