Carmen and I will present our 2025/26 school budget to CBE senior leadership and financial strategists this coming Monday. We feel confident that our plan will continue to be centred on achieving optimum teaching and learning resources and staffing at our wonderful school.
El proximo Martes/Next Tuesday, will our grade 1 and 6 students will celebrate our Music Program through Que Pasa at the Jubilee Auditorium in front of thousands of Spanish Bilingual program families. We will be one of 10 Spanish bilingual schools from K to grade 12 . Our students will undoubtedly feel like the stars they are! The video recording should be available through our school YouTube account in a few weeks. I will share the link as soon as it is ready.
May 29 is the Kindergarten, grade 3 and grade 5 Spring Concert! Students and teachers have an outstanding performance and celebration of learning to share in the gym and the classroom.

Para la proxima semana/By next week, we will see the fruits of our recent focus on Culture and Heritage through a simple assessment. Having students develop a sense of understanding, pride and celebration for theirs and other's culture and heritage. At CBE and Escuela Glenmeadows, we believe in respect for others, celebrating diversity and being inclusive.
Sabias Que?/Did you know that we have plenty of new soccer balls and other recess equipment in the yellow boxes now available from 8:55 am to 3:50 pm? We ask that students not bring their own balls as it creates inequalities and challenges between groups of students. Gracias!
El tiempo/The weather is beautiful now! Please support our message of having your children pick up their clothing articles from the fields, and if they are forgotten, they will be placed in our lost and found, which is currently quite full. We will continue to make announcements about students getting their clothing articles from this area.
