PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

We trust that each of you had una semana excellente/great week!  Have you had a chance to book your Parent-Teacher Conferences for next week?  This is an opportunity for teachers to provide you with information on academic and other areas, based on classroom evidence.  Teachers will speak about what they and students will work on to support until the February Report cards.

The teacher's Weekly Communication formats will change next Friday as a result of parental and teacher feedback.  Below is a template that will be common to all teachers to provide information to parents/guardians.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Como/As staff and parents alike, we greatly value important and ongoing communication between the school and families in support of student learning.  This communication format will also reduce the number of emails you receive on Fridays, as it will include a direct link to Sabes Que at the top of the Teacher Weekly communication.  Last but not least, this format will help parents easily track information for families with siblings and year to year.

We hope to see you either online or at the school next Thursday evening or Friday for Parent-Teacher conferences!

With gratitude,

Ray Suarez

Principal

SCHOOL UPDATES

STUDENT PICK UP/DROP OFF – PLEASE DON’T USE THE STAFF PARKING LOT

Please choose safety over convenience when dropping off/picking up your student(s).  Using the staff parking lot is not allowed as it creates safety concerns with congestion and students/families walking through.  When possible, plan ahead and park a little further away to walk your student(s) to the school.  We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a safe and positive environment at our school.

CRAZY SOCK DAY – NOV 27

We’re excited to announce that Crazy Sock Day/Día de los Calcetines will take place on Thursday, November 27th

Students are invited to come to school wearing their funkiest, silliest, most colorful socks to show our school spirit.  It’s a simple and fun way for everyone to express themselves—you can even mix and match two different pairs of socks! Please remember that the socks should still allow students to participate in all school activities like gym.

Thank you for your support. We can’t wait to see all the wacky styles on display!
